MODERN LACE

In the 80's I started designing and making modern lace.
First by myself, then I took lessons from Martine Bruggeman and in 1992 I took the bi-annual course "Lace Special".
I have never dated my patterns; so there is no chronological order.
These designs are from the period 1980-1994.
The first pieces were figurative and 2 dimensional

I made the butterfly first, than I painted it.

Then they became abstract, but still 2-dimensional

It became more and more 3-dimensional
